90 from the 90's

I was looking over my poems
and noticed that some
of them
could have been worded
differently
but then,
those misplaced words
spoke to me.

they said,
"Matt, don't erase
me
I stand as a testament
to how life is
and the way things
work out sometimes
can't be changed."

So I left them.
